Chapter Three Progress


Hi all,

Huge progress! Completed are the Escambray Wilds--a densely-forested area, about twice the size of Lisotte Wilds, where escape from battle is impossible--and the lore-heavy escapee village of Baracoa.

I've also made the front entrance to the Veradero Magma Core accessible from the world map. This was missing even from current-build; the icon led nowhere, as I wasn't quite sure what to do with it.

I've also completed the secondary sequence of Daniela & Co.'s return to Lisotte. This includes a very grim (if you're checking details) trip through Alistair, along with a short retrace through Alistair Cave South featuring different enemies.

Finally, I've laid out the "scene of deliberation" in Lisotte's mess hall after everyone is reunited. This game's focus will be dungeon-crawling to the last, and it's a welcome challenge in this last stretch of the game to keep cut scenes short and dense with the amount of story that has piled up.

The next task is to make the Magma Core, the second-to-last dungeon,  for which I'm trying to figure out the best way to use a guest mechanic.
